@guyma I say yes. my theory is that it's a moderating influence. prevents communism, fascism and other nutty ideas.

@guyma I'm saying a strong middle class doesn't happen naturally without some sort of regulation, such as progressive income tax

@guyma I mean no disrespect but IMHO free marketeers and libertarians tend to ignore data that doesn't support their views

@guyma here's the deal - every piece of data I've seen shows completely free markets trend towards polarization, not a strong middle class
